Georgian, George IV, Old Sheffield Plate Coffee Pot, circa 1820. Of bellied form and raised on a circular pedestal foot. The foot and upper rim with applied foliate detail. Leaf capped detail to the spout and ornate handle terminals.
In good condition with high surface wear. The base is filled and loose material can be heard in it when shaken. Warm copper bleed, as per the photographs. The handle has had strengthening brackets applied to the sockets and these appear to be of a high standard. Free of dents and creases. Feint traces of solder around the spout.
Approximate weight is 1.02 kilos.
Approximate dimensions are 22 cm height and 27 cm handle to spout length.
