Georgian, George IV period, large Old Sheffield Plate coffee pot, circa 1820. This is a substantial coffee pot raised on a stepped and gadrooned circular foot. The body is of plain baluster form with an ornate spout. The domed and gadrooned cover with a berry and leaf finial.
In good order with moderate suface wear and some clouding of the silver layer. Light pressure marks and some solder residue at the join of the spout and the body.
Approximate weight is 893 grams.
Approximate dimensions are 28 cm height, 25 cm length and 12 cm depth.
