Georgian, George IV, pair of twin handled Old Sheffield Plate sauce tureens and covers. Circa 1820 - 1830. Both are of oval form with domed lift off covers and cut out slots for sauce ladles. Foliate decorated borders and raised upon four ball feet. Foliate knops to the covers and rolled over silver edges.
In excellent order with high surface wear, some pitting and copper bleed.
Approximate weight for the pair is 1.18 kilos.
Approximate dimensions of one are 21 cm length, 12 cm width and 12 cm height.
