Georgian, George IV period, set of four Old Sheffield Plate candlesticks. With scrolled leaf rims, knopped socles, tapered pillars and plain domed circular bases. The drip trays are removable and are original, as they match the pattern of the candlesticks.
In excellent order with light surface wear, commensurate with age and minimal copper bleed.
Each candlestick is marked to the base rim and inside the stick holder for T. Dixon & Co. of Birmingham, circa 1820 - 1830.
Approximate weight of all four are 3 kilos.
Approximate dimensions of one are 24 cm height and 12 cm base diameter.
