Georgian, George IV, silver circular entree dish of lobed form. The domed cover mounted by a handle chased as a branch upon a bed of acorns. The rim of the cover is reeded, whilst the rim of the dish is gadrooned.
In excellent order with moderate surface wear commensurate with age.
Hallmarked to the dish and cover for London 1830 by Jospeh Angell I & John Angell I. This was the last year of the reign of George IV and the first year of William IV. The handle is not hallmarked, but would appear to be original.
