Georgian, George IV, silver cup and cover of campana form with elaborate foliate scroll cast handles. The domed cover features a flame finial atop a bed of leaves with a gadrooned border. The body and circular spreading foot feature bands of leaf decoration. The cup bears inscriptions to either side relating to the Corrie Coursing Meeting of 1872, which was won by Mr Myslop's Magenta.

In excellent order with light surface wear. The foliate scroll cast handles are of the highest quality of workmanship. There is an old solder repair to the base of the interior, but this has been professionally done without much residue.

Hallmarked to the cup and cover for London 1824 by Joseph Angell I.
