George IV Silver Tea Set. Each piece with a stepped and reeded waist with foliate parapets. The teapot with flush fitting domed cover with rectangular foliate finial. All handles are leaf capped, as is the teapot spout. Each piece raised on an applied cast foliate base with four feet. The sugar bowl and cream jug with gilded interiors. The teapot handle with ivory insulators. Each item has a monogram of S T to the underside.
Each piece has faded hallmarks for London 1825 by Rebecca Emes & Edward Barnard I. The teapot is further part hallmarked to the cover and handle.
In excellent order with light surface wear commensurate with age, The teapot does not leak and holds about 1.4 litres. Free of dents, creases and splits.
Approximate total weight of all three pieces is 1.450 kilos or 46.6 troy ounces.
