Georgian, George IV, Six Silver Tablespoons. Each spoon crested with a lion, in the naive style, above a cap of maintenance (a ceremonial cap of crimson velvet lined with ermine).
Each spoon is hallmarked for York 1825 by James Barber, George Cattle II & William North. The York town mark does not appear, but this is common for smaller items of silver.
In excellent condition with light surface wear commensurate with age.
Approximate weight of all six spoons is 447 grams or 14.3 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions of one spoon are 21.5 cm and 4.8 cm bowl width.
