York silver, Georgian, George IV, set of six teaspoons. The spoons are of a heavy gauge of silver, fiddle pattern design and feature a monogram.
In very good order with moderate surface wear commensurate with age.
Each spoon is hallmarked for York 1821 by James Barber & William Whitwell. The York town mark does not appear, but these were frequently ommitted for flatware and cutlery.
Approximate weight of all six spoons is 142 grams or 4.5 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions of one spoon are 14 cm length and 3 cm bowl width.
