Victorian twin handled, silver plated, crested oval serving tray. Raised on four ornate bracket feet and with a leaf capped raised border and reeded handles emerging from leaf mounts. The main surface has been beautifully hand chased and in the centre is the faded crest of a lion with a paw on a fleur de lys shield.
In very good condition with loss of silver plate to the main surface, as per the photographs. Free of dents, creases and splits. Surface wear is light to medium and commensurate with age.
Marked to the underside with TW and the pelican mark for Thomas Wilkinson, circa 1840 - 1860.
