Late Georgian, Old Sheffield Plate Crested Dinner Plate. The plate has rolled over silver edges and a rubbed in silver square with a crest. The outer rim is gadrooned.
To the underside is the open hand mark of J. Watson & Co. of Sheffield, circa 1830.
Condition is excellent with very light surface wear commensurate with age.
Approximate weight is 423 grams.
Approximate dimensions are 24 cm diameter and 2.5 cm height. The diameter of the well is 17 cm.
