Late Georgian Old Sheffield Plate large pedestal teapot, circa 1825. Features a rubbed in silver circle with monogram to one side and gadrooned rims. The domed cover features an ornate finial and the whole tepaot is raised on a circular pedestal foot. The underside of the spout is acanthus capped.
In good order with minute traces of solder where the spout joins the body. High surface wear commensurate with age. Areas of copper bleed.
