19th century pair of Old Sheffield Plate candlesticks with foliate detail and removable drip trays / nozzles.
In very good condition with surface wear commensurate with age. Small amounts of copper bleed and pressure marks to the base rims.
Marked with the bell symbol for what would have been Roberts, Smith & Sissons at this time, circa 1830 - 1840. It was previously known as Roberts and Cadman and would go onto become Smith, Scissons & Co and then Scissons.
