Late Georgian Patinated Bronze & Ormolu Inkstand, circa 1825 - 1835. Features a pair of cut glass inkwells, central wafer box with taperstick holder flanked by two pen trays. Loop carrying handles, raised on four ball feet and with a decorative ormolu border.
Condition is very good with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. Some minor losses to the border band of ormolu detail, as shown in the photos. The base of this border slightly misshapen when viewed from the underside. A few tiny holes in the inkwell bottle caps, which are a slightly loose fit on the bottles. Missing the snuffer cap. No apparent glass damage.
