A large late Georgian Sheffield plated salver of Royal Navy interest. The Armorial in the centre is the Marital Arms of Adderley & Bishton. This commemorates the marriage of Admiral Arden Adderley & Anne Bishton in 1823. Admiral Adderley served with the Royal Navy from 1796 until 1857. A full copy of the heraldry report including his naval service will be included with the purchase.

The salver is of circular form with an ornate raised border and later chased decoration.

In excellent order, free of dents and splits. No loss of silver plate.
