Napoleon Bonaparte on Horseback Framed Print, after Meissonier. The picture, ‘1814’, depicts Napoleon during his French campaign of that year. This was the final campaign of the War of the Sixth Coalition and ended with Napoleon being exiled to Elba.
The original painting, by Jean-Louis-Ernest Meissonier (1815 - 1891), was in the collection of the Duc de Morny. The ebonised frame with ornately gilded borders. Mounting loops and cord to the reverse.
In excellent condition with no losses to the frame or glass damage.
