Pair of George IV Old Sheffield Plate Candlesticks. The removable nozzles, shoulders and bases with applied lead filled silver scroll and foliate detail.
Marked 'CR SILVER EDGES' to the nozzle socket interiors, for Roberts, Cadman & Co. Circa 1820.

Approximate dimensions of one are 21 cm height and 10.5 cm base diameter.
In good original condition without dents or creases. Both candlesticks stand straight and do not wobble. Wear to the lead filled silver detail, showing as a darker colour. The candlesticks have not been replated. The underside of the bases covered in green baize. Small areas of light copper bleed.
