Royal Navy Silver Trophy Cup. Presented to Able Seaman J. Flynn of HMS Implacable by Admiral Sir John A Fisher K.C.B in Malta 1902. Of part fluted form with twin handles on a pedestal circular foot. The cup was presented in Malta and the retail stamp for the base clearly shows the shop name and street in Valletta.

HMS Implacable was a Formidable class battleship completed in 1901 and assigned to the Mediterranean Fleet. In World War One she took part in the Gallipoli landings at Cape Helles, supporting ANZAC forces. She later reinforced the Italian fleet and was sold for scrap in 1921.

Hallmarked for London 1901 by William Hutton & Sons Ltd.

In excellent condition with light surface wear commensurate with age. Free of dents and splits.
