"Veille De La Bataille D'Austerlitz" Napoleon Bonaparte Brass Box. Napoleon at the bivouac the day before the Battle of Austerlitz. The Battle of Austerlitz was fought on December 2nd 1805 and was a decisive victory for La Grand Armee, bringing the War of the Third Coalition to an end.
Brass Box with Bronzed Figure of a Seated Napoleon Bonaparte on a Tilted Chair Contemplating Documents. Late 19th / Early 20th Century. Napoleon is sat looking at documents on a tree trunk base. The top of the box slides off revealing a compartment for trinkets, or similar.
In excellent condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age.
