Victorian, large crested silver coffee biggin with Brecknockshire Hunt inscription. This coffee pot has an inner rim to allow a filter to be suspended from a metal ring, making it a biggin. The coffee biggin is of large form with part fluted decoration and an acanthus capped handle with ivory heat spacers. The part fluted cover has a carved ivory knop. Crested to one side with a dragon and stag over the motto "SYN AR DY HYN". The coffee biggin is raised on a stepped circular foot.
In excellent order with very light surface wear, commensurate with age.
