Early Victorian pair of silver plated candlesticks. Features foliate detail and a monogram to the base. The removable nozzles with gadrooned rims.
Each candlestick is marked to the base for Elkington, Mason & Co. with a date letter for 1853.
In very good condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. Wear to the silver plate on the bases. Few pressure dints to the base rim. The bases are uncovered, but can be easily covered in baize if desired. Both sticks stand perfectly straight and do not rock.
Approximate weight for the pair is 1.6 kilos.
