Victorian silver mounted black leather purse of small proportions. Features three small compartments for stamps and a clasp locked compartment, perhaps for a sovereign. The black leather is finely stitched.
In excellent order with no silver damage and a tiny patch of fraying in one corner of the leather.
Hallmarked to the mounts and clasp for London 1899 by Thomas De La Rue & Co.
Approximate dimensions are 8 cm length, 5.5 cm width and 1.5 cm height.
