Victorian silver mounted reptile leather card case. Each corner has a silver mount. The clasp opens to reveal a steel framed interior with two soft tan leather compartments for calling cards.
In excellent order with light surface wear commensurate with age. The reptile leather and tan leather are all in excellent order. The silver mounts are free of dents and pressure marks. Some tarnishing around the securing pins for the mounts. The clasp is fully functional.
Each corner is hallmarked for London 1899 by Henry Matthews. Some of the maker's marks are rubbed.
