Victorian silver plated sauce tureen with Baron's Coronet, circa 1850 - 1880. Of lobed rectangular form, raised on four ornate feet and with twin leaf capped handles. The domed cover with leaf capped loop handle. The rim of the tureen features scroll and leaf decoration. The cover and tureen both feature a Baron's Coronet with mirrored L's. This is for Lord lytton, Viceroy of India.
In excellent order with light surface wear, commensurate with age. The cover is numbered 1and the tureen is numbered 4. There is no maker's mark.
