Victorian Silver Plated Tea Caddy in the Georgian Style. Raised on four outswept scrolled bracket feet. Of shaped rectangular form with corners curving outwards. The body and cover with elaborate scroll & leaf detail. Each side of the body has a cartouche, one with the initial L. The domed and hinged cover with turned finial.
Condition is excellent with light surface wear commensurate with age. Free of dents, creases, splits and repairs. The silver plate is in good order, with the highest wear to the bottom of the side with the initial L.
Approximate weight is 336 grams.
