Victorian William Gladstone Relief Pewter Pin Dish, circa 1880 - 1900.
William Ewart Gladstone was born in Liverpool in 1809. He first entered Parliament in 1833 as the Member for Newark and in 1847 as the Member for the University of Oxford. He later became a successful Chancellor of the Exchequer. He was Prime Minister of Great Britain from 1868 to 1874, 1880 to 1885, 1886, and again from 1892 to March 1894. He died in 1898.
In very good condition with moderate surface wear. The rim slightly misshapen.
