William IV matching pair of Scottish silver fiddle and thread pattern, crested, basting spoons.
In excellent order with moderate surface wear commensurate with age. Slightly lighter shade of silver in the centre of the stems, possibly from where they had been bound together for a long period by a previous owner.
Each spoon is hallmarked for Glasgow 1831 by Robert Gray & Son.
Approximate weight for both spoons is 293 grams or 9.42 troy ounces.
Approximate dimensions of one spoon are 30.8 cm length and 5 cm bowl width.
