William IV silver melon shaped coffee pot of lobed form. The lobed and domed cover features an apple and leaf finial. The body widens towards the lower part and is raised upon four ornate bracket feet. The original silver filter suspension ring is also present in this coffee pot.
In excellent condition with moderate surface wear commensurate with age.
Hallmarked to the underside of the base for London 1831 by Edward, Edward junior, John & William Barnard. The filter suspension ring, cover, finial and handle are further part hallmarked.
Approximate weight is 889 grams or 28.58 troy ounces.
