William IV silver trefoil decanter stand with three amethyst glass decanters, centred with a shell capped loop handle. The decanter and cork holders are flanked by shells. The skirted base raised upon three ornate cast bracket feet. The amethyst glass decanters are contemporary and inscribed Hollands, Brandy and Rum in gilt ribbon tied reserves. The matching cork stoppers are silver plated and mother of pearl and are also labelled Hollands, Brandy and Rum.
The silver and glass are all in excellent order with moderate surface wear. The stoppers and labels are also in good order. The Hollands cork is a tighter fit in the decanter neck. The underside is unpolished. Slight surface marks where the undersides of the bottles stand.
The base and stem of the stand are hallmarked for London 1832 by The Barnards.
